Peng Sen, deputy director of China's National Development and Reform Commission, disclosed at a recent conference that China will promote the use of energy saving lamps by providing subsidies.According to Peng, China will subsidize the use of 100 million energy saving lamps this year in addition to the promotion of other energy efficiency products such as air-conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines.
